Robert Savage is the VP of Business Strategy and Development, delivering projects and growth solutions for clients including American Strategic Insurance — a Progressive company — and Priatek. Prior to joining Symphony, Robert directed communications and PR for Beds and Bars: Europe’s largest independent hospitality firm, spanning eight countries, 12 cities and 23 businesses.
Robert is the author of two books; sold internationally and permanently listed in The British Library, as well as at the University libraries of Oxford and Cambridge. He also writes for and has been a spokesman in The Guardian, MSN Travel, The Telegraph, The Wall St. Journal, the BBC and Good Morning America. Robert is the recipient of the British Educational Travel Association’s Rising Star Award, has opened the London Stock Exchange on behalf of the UK Government and was the youngest member ever admitted to the British Guild of Travel Writers.
A graduate of the University of Durham, Robert is inspired by his university chancellor and best-selling travel author, Bill Bryson. When he’s not strategizing and writing, you’ll find him dashing through an airport en-route to the next new ‘it’ destination.
